It’s possible to tell a story through art.  It’s possible to use painting to express your story, the story you want to communicate to the world.  This Painting Workshop will allow you to tell your story through the art of painting.  Greenwood will teach you how to use color, how to tell your story through paint brushes and paint.  A one-day workshop, come and learn how to tell your story through the art of painting.

This is an artistic workshop:  We provide a wooden jaguar mask, paints and professional instruction by Greenwood.

Limited to 12 students, this two-hour workshop will consist of giving you the instruction to let your creativity flourish – and you will take home your own jaguar.

When you begin to paint, you embark on a journey: every brush stroke you make becomes a part of the history of the painting.  Our Teacher Greenwood will show  you how to be bold, curious, and adventurous.  As you discover the power of the jaguar deep within you, you will be empowered.  Wipe clean or paint over anything that you’ve put down that doesn’t work for you. The more thought, the more decisions, the more instinctive gestures you make along the way, the more depth and complexity your jaguar mask will reveal. The end of your journey is the completion of the jaguar mask, and you’ll know it when you get there.

Cuando usted comienza a pintar, se embarca en un viaje: cada pincelada se vuelve a tomar una parte de la historia de la pintura.  Nuestro Maestro Greenwood le mostrará cómo ser valiente, curioso y aventurero. A medida que descubre el poder del jaguar profundamente dentro de usted, usted realizará su potencial. Limpieo pinte sobre cualquier cosa que usted ha puesto por que es lo que se imaginaba. Born in Tampa, Greenwood grew up in southern Florida.  From the age of two he became an artist and never veered from that course. He enhanced his natural talent by studying art at Ft. Lauderdale Art Institute and Jacksonville University.

Greenwood has worked in a variety of mediums including watercolor, sculpture, glass, oils, and pen and ink.  From 1000 sq. foot murals to editorial cartoons, his style varies along with each medium. For the past eleven years, he’s enjoyed the bold colors of acrylics while exploring different subjects through impressionism, not realism.

His philosophy is to make his art uplifting, to make the world a better place. His motto has always been “Love and Peace through Art.” 

After graduating high school, he traveled to every major art museum east of the Mississippi in the U.S. and Canada.  

Graduated from Fort Lauderdale Art institute in Advertising Design and then studied fine art at Jacksonville University. After college, worked at two different art supply stores.

Co-owned Arts and Craft gallery in Coral Springs, Florida.  Co-owned Oounkshaw Art gallery in Young Harris, Ga.  Owned Evergreen Art and Frame in Blairsville, Ga.  Manager of Appalachian Art Gallery in Young Harris, Ga.

He has painted dozens of interior and exterior murals in homes and businesses.  He has taught adult and children's acrylic and watercolor classes.

Displayed and sold artwork in galleries in Fl., Ga., and N.C. Exhibited my artwork for 1 year at Mallory Square "Sunset Celebration" in Key West, FL.

Currently Greenwood is an unpaid volunteer with Purpura Plastika and teaches art to the children

at Amor y Vida orphanage.

Nacido en Tampa, Greenwood se crió en el sur de la Florida. Desde la edad de dos años se convirtió en un artista y nunca se desvió de ese camino. El aumentó su talento natural mediante el estudio de arte en Ft. Lauderdale Art Institute y la Universidad de Jacksonville.

Greenwood ha trabajado en una variedad de medios, incluyendo la acuarela, escultura, vidrio, aceites, y una pluma y tinta.
